Crafty beginnings..

Some one very wise once said ‘Do what you love. ‘
And that ladies and gents is exactly what I’m going to do.
Some of my earliest childhood memories revolve around gluing and sticking, making anything and everything, for anyone who was gullible enough to ‘delightedly’ accept my paint splattered, glittler covered, often unintelligible projects.
Now these days my favourite place to spend a Sunday is a home under my duvet with a big pile of fabric and a needle and thread.  Fabric (…and everything it relates to) has become quite the addiction of mine, felt both by myself and my bank balance, but my love of making extends to just about anything really, not just of the fabric variety.  I just love to make, recycle, up cycle and just create!
Sew Toledo runs children’s craft parties and workshops in an around the Devon and Cornwall Area, however, more about that later.
So here, I will blog about projects, things you could try at home, both for the crafting novice or a the vintage crafter, useful things, pretty things and Sew Toledo parties and workshops. but I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination and I certainly don’t know it all, or even a lot and I would love to hear what others get up to or any tips and tricks of the trade or any projects you are working on.
So bare with me whilei get started, progress may be a little slow but I'm getting there so check back for updates soon

Big Love

Sarah xx
